Course A:

Leaving Certificate Revision

Day 1

Irish Oral & Aural. Our experienced teachers who are Department of Education examiners, will offer clear instruction on best practice and study techniques to allow students to prepare for the Irish Oral & Aural exams with confidence.

Day 2

Paper 1 & 2. The course will include instruction on the Aiste, Léamhthuiscint, Prós, Filíocht & Gramadach. Students will receive instruction in the morning and afternoon, and will be given excellent notes that will be of great benefit to them while preparing for their final exams.

  • Instruction by fully qualified department of Education examiners
  • Includes a ‘Mock’ Irish Oral exam which will take place on the second day, with feedback and advice given to students thereafter.

  • Level: Junior Cycle Higher Level
  • Includes: Course Notes Booklet

Course B:

Junior Cycle Revision

This is an intensive one day revision course covering all aspects of the Junior Cycle Irish exam. Course B is designed for Higher level students.

  • Instruction by fully qualified Department of Education examiners
  • Students will receive a ‘Coláiste Laighean’ Junior Cycle Irish booklet on the day.

  • A broad range of activities and tours in the afternoon
  • Céilí & other social/entertainment activities in the evenings
  • Course Fee €745.00 (€300 booking deposit required with balance due at registration on the first day of the course)

Course dates:   24/06/25 – 8/07/25

Course C: Residential summer course (2nd yr, 3rd Yr, T.Y & 5th Year)

Students who have just completed second year will follow the Junior Cycle course and will also be given guidance to help them to prepare for their CBAs in 3rd Year.

Student who have completed the Junior Cert’ exam, T.Ys and 5th Year students receive tuition from the same teachers who coordinate our very popular Leaving Cert revision courses. As a private college we have the freedom to design our own classes which are more focused on preparation for the state exams than many of the more traditional Irish colleges. Classes are divided by year group.

Course D: Residential summer course

6th class, 1st and 2nd year

Students on Cúrsa D will learn the very basics of the Irish language focusing particularly on Irish Grammar. They will be given comprehensive notes and advice about how to prepare for the Junior Cycle exam while students who have completed 2nd year will also be given guidance on how to prepare for their CBAs in 3rd year. All students on this course will have ample opportunity to develop their conversational and listening skills

  • 3 Classes in the morning
  • A broad range of activities and tours in the afternoon
  • Céilí & other social/entertainment activities in the evenings
  • Course Fee €395.00 (€150 booking deposit required with balance due at registration on the first day of the course)

Course dates:   26/07/25 – 2/08/25

Course E: Residential summer course

(Sixth Class, First and Second Year)

Students on our 1 Week course ‘Cúrsa E’ will learn the very basics of the Irish language focusing particularly on Irish Grammar. They will be given comprehensive notes and advice about how to prepare for the Junior Cycle exam while students who have completed 2nd year will also be given guidance on how to prepare for their CBAs in 3rd year. All students on this course will have ample opportunity to develop their conversational and listening skills.

Cúrsa E follows the same schedule and is designed for the same age group attending Cúrsa D but is an excellent alternative for students unable to commit to a two week course.
